On Our Way to Illinois

We make one final trip to Mt. Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah before leaving for Illinois.

With a storm moving in, we drove just ahead of it all the way through Wyoming.

Wyoming looks a lot like this:

Craig said he didn't think he had ever driven for so long without seeing anything.  Yeah.

Now I ask you, how safe is this??????

Poor Sam.  He does NOT like driving.  But after the first few minutes, he settles down.

Oh, and did I mention the wind?  Gusts of up to 55 mph according to highway warnings.

It was a LONG drive but we made it safely to Denver.  Had a delicious dinner at KFC, complete with pie.  Yum.

Our plans are to make it to Chicago by Friday.
